UDBC herbarium offers the following services to the university community as well as to natural persons according to the classification. For services, except for library consultation, contact must be made, authorization by the herbarium director, and payment must be made according to the type of user.
Procedure: Send an electronic mail at herbarioforestal@udistrital.edu.co indicating the required services. Should a deposit be made in advance to a saving account if needed.
The UDBC library is located in the herbarium facilities. It has a capacity of attendande of eight people.
The specimens in the collection may be consulted, following the consultation rules defined by the herbarium.
The herbarium offers botanical species identification.
The generation of labels for botanical material is offered in the format used by the Forest Herbarium for its labels.
The service of drying and quarantine of botanical material is provided.
The herbarium is located in the facilities of the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources, Vivero or Venado de Oro
